Hi I’m Amber

I’m the person behind Ember Studios. I’ve been making photographs professionally for just over 3 years, before that I was creating and holding a camera every chance I got.
During this time I’ve come to understand what it is I’m actually after: images that feel like they belong to the people in them.

My work lives somewhere between softness and shadow.
Whether I’m shooting a wedding in Antwerp, a newborn at home, a product for a local brand, or a face that’s forgotten how good it looks in the right light - I want every image to carry something real. A memory you haven’t lived yet, or one didn’t know you needed to keep.

I’m drawn to emotion, to movement, to the little moments that happen in between the planned ones. I create space where people feel seen, held, a little transformed.
