I'm Amber, the photographer behind Ember Studios.
I've been working professionally as a photographer for over three years, but I've been making photographs for much longer than that.
I started photographing because I'm fascinated by the things that don't last very long. A glance. A strange expression. The way someone moves when they forget about the camera. Light falling perfectly for a few seconds.
Photography lets me hold onto those little things long after they've disappeared.
My work lives somewhere between softness and shadow. I care less about making everything look perfect and more about making it feel like something.
I photograph people, brands, weddings and everything in between - always looking for atmosphere, personality and the little unexpected moments that make an image feel alive.
So whether we're creating something carefully art-directed or documenting something that only happens once, I want the photographs to feel
unmistakably yours.
